The Jimmy has been recalled 24 times. The 1995 and 1996 model years have been involved in the most campaigns.

Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or GMC itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.
